First of all, Happy New Year to every reader and let’s hope that this one will be more positive than the past two.

Now, coming to the list of my favourite films of 2021, I would like to thank every filmmaker and entertainment industry individual or artisan for taking a daring step forward when the world needed them. There is an ascertained positive energy that flew through 2021 with enthusiasm and hope for a better tomorrow.

Having said that the year has been full of ups and downs with Malayalam cinema proving once again that their thinking has grown a step forward.

Indian Cinema needs to take a serious look at how Hollywood is learning and building from its previous mistakes. Marvel Cinematic Universe kind of setup is rare but that showed us how we can progress forward in testing times as well with creativity.

Well, let’s dive into my list of films this year from around the World and there will be names that you might have not heard much too. But these all have impressed me with their innovation and creativity.
