Nuvvila Movie director Ravi Babu is well-known in Telugu Industry for making new experimentations in his movies and hence something very different is expected from this movie as Well. Let’s check out the review for more details…
Story-line:
A tale of three youngsters, the story is about Anand (ajay) who takes a break after intermediate to make up his mind as he is confused most of the times. Mahesh (havish) is an aspiring model and hopes to become famous. Fidel Raja (prasad) is a talented violinist and he wants to work with big music directors. While those are their dreams, they all join the same pizza joint and become good friends. Meanwhile, Anand falls in love with Archana (yami) while Prasad marries Rani (remya) the girl he hates the most. As for Mahesh, he has a breakup with his girlfriend Madhavi (sarayu) but is chased by a gay (haleem). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Pleasure Performances:
Anand is good. Yami is cute. Havish was successful to bring some good laughs. Remya Nambeesan is decent. Prasad and Sarayu are apt. Haleem did justice to his role but his character exceeded bars. Ravi babu’s comedy is neat as cop.
Highlights of Nuvvila:
- Entertaining Screenplay

- Music
- Direction
- Sunil Voice Over
Drawbacks of Nuvvila:
- Thin Storyline
- Second Half Drags

- Post interval scenes
Technical Treasures:
The story of the film is all right. What makes the difference in the film is its interesting and entertaining screenplay. Ravi Babu started the film by establishing the prime characters in an impressive way. Sunil voice over is impressive. Dialogues are conversational. Cinematography is good. Editing is adequate. Production values of Usha Kiron are First class. Music is a definite plus point in this film. Song numbers and background music are great. Choreography is sensible.
Survi Verdict:
Nuvvila starts off good with sufficient amount of entertainment and emotional scenes; Second half becomes slow-paced, but picks up towards the end. The plus points of the movie are Lead performances, Music, Screenplay,Direction and humor. The negative point is the story-orientation, Drags in Second Half, excessive gay episodes. Overall, Nuvvila a recommended urban comedy movie.
Tit-bit: Nuvvila loosely inspired from “Sex is Zero” and Parts of “What Happens in Vegas”.
