Story:
Vicky (Prabhas) works in Australia as a game developer and likes to live his life as he desires and never compromises or adjusts for anyone. On the other hand, Priya (Kajal Agarwal) is a traditional girl and quite contradictory to Vicky’s nature. Vicky comes to India to attend his sister’s wedding. Meanwhile Vicky and Priya family heads, Nazar and Murali Mohan fixes a match for them and asks the duo to take their time and tell their opinion. While Priya likes his attitude slowly and falls for him, Vicky rejects her saying they are not made for each other and heads back to Australia for his job. Tapsee, daughter of Prakash Raj offers a project to Vicky and their friends in their company. Sooner, Vicky and Tapsee fall in love with each other who has similar attitudes. But Prakash Raj wouldn’t be happy with them and makes a deal with Prabhas to get the approval from four relatives who attend his first daughter’s wedding. Here comes a twist where Priya also attends the same wedding. What happens from there is the rest of the story.
Performance:
Prabhas again dons the role of a lover boy in this movie similar to that of ‘Darling’. He is given a fresh look and I am sure that girls will fall flat for his stylishly polished appearance. The actor showed maturity in his acting and the way he performed. Kajal puts up an expert show as the chirpy Priya, and is quite a post-Trisha phenomenon where such roles are concerned. Prabhas and Kajal looked admiring together and their on-screen chemistry is commendable. Tapsee Pannu managed to fit into the tom boyish character designed for her. Brahmanandam kept the viewers amused in the first half for a while which is taken over by Raghu Babu in the second half. Master Bharath’s performance is regular. Prakash Raj, Nasseer, Murali Mohan, and Sayaji Shinde put in some effortless genius as usual.
Editing is intermediate. Vijay K Chakravarthy cinematography makes this a rather pleasant watch. Devi Sri Prasad’s Background score is praiseworthy as that fresh feel-good music is maintained right from the first scene till the end. Dil Raju’s Production Values were good.
Plus:
First Half Family Drama
Prabhas-Kajal Chemistry
Songs
Dialogues
Minus:
Fights
Choreography
Predictable Second Half
Survi Verdict:
Director Dasarath did well in the first half by establishing the characters. His direction is neat. But he did not keep the tempo once the story fell in to the main line. Mr.Perfect is a routine, veritable family entertainer and lacks singularity. Can watch the movie only for its lead pair chemistry and songs otherwise don’t waste your money.
PS: Light Theesuko Bhaiya Light Theesuko.. Mr.Perfect Inka Light Thesukooo..
