After re-writing tollywood records last year with roaring hit “Simha”. Now he teams up with Dasari Narayan Rao for his 150th movie “PARAMAVEERACHAKRA“. Ameesha Patel, Neha Dhupia and Sheela to romance with balaya this time. Mani Sharma scored the music for this prestigious project. Lets us check out the review.
Story:
The story begins with Chakradhar (NBK) who is a noted actor in the Telugu circuit and he gets into the skin of any character he plays. He also has a big fan (sheela) who tries to woo him and is in love with him. However, Chakradhar’s mother (jayasudha) is not interested to see her son doing films and wants him to join the Indian army. The story takes a turn with the arrival of few army officers (murali Mohan and others) who meet Chakradhar and narrate the story of one Major Jayasimha (NBK again). In no time, Chakradhar gets into the skin of Major Jayasimha and changes his approach. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
Balakrishna did justice to his two roles with strong looks and powerful dialogues. Dasari tried to work on a recycled script. Screenplay is simply awful. Direction wise Dasari didn’t changed his style for new generation audience. Dialogs by Dasari were only the best part of his work in this movie. Background score was catchy and two songs were visually good. Cinematography was major plus for the movie, Art department was okay. Ameesha, was okay. Sheela and Neha added the masala required. Editing was sloppiest. Bhramanandam- Ali Robo Parody “Cheddi the robo” was the funniest part of Parama Veera Chakra.
Overall:
Weak narration, music, Direction were major drawbacks for the movie. Movie in the first half was tolerable, but the director lost grip in the second half which unfolds into what it really is … a really bad Dasari Narayana Rao movie.. Worth Skipping.
Bottom Line: Chudali Anukoku .. Thattukolevu .. Madipothav
