Pre Mood: Director Teja one of those directors whose films attracted me in my childhood days. From Chitram to Keka, i watched his maximum flicks in theatres that was the craze of Teja. But after his Series of flops starting from Avunana Kadanna, Jai, Keka,Dhairyam, Lakshmi Kalyam. It taken four years to Teja to recover from the flop shock and come up with an promising love story ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’. Here’s my first Teja movie review..

Story: Shiva (Prince) a kind hearted dude who belives in truth a lot. One day due to one of his close friend giving him DASH. He forced to work in Illegal Liquor Syndicate. Gayatri (Nanditha) works at the same place likes Shiva for his kind heart.  A secret romance leads to unexpected twists and turns. How did shiva and Gayatri ran away from the syndicate? Will Owner Baapineedu leave them? Why did Teertha tried to kill Gayathri? Forms the rest of the DASH.

Performances: Debutant Prince is a bit raw and corpse. He need work on his acting skills. He looks a bit similar to Pratheek Babar. Heoine Nandini is average for the role that offers range of histrionics. The person who acted as Bapineedu given complete justice to the character. Teetha was wasted with very regular stuff. Suman Shetty and Chitram Venu had major role in the film and did pretty well. Tanikella Bharini cameo was okay. Parchuri Venkateshwar Rao is good as master minded cashier. Rest of the new characters were supportive.

Trivialities: Story of the film is very thin. The screenplay by Teja is very Okay in the style of Jayam, Avunnana Kadanna. The failed to estblish the characters in the first half and failed to set the mood in the second half. Teja’s dialogues were adequate. Teja should come out his regualr narrative stuff, its just regular very regular.

Yashwant Nag’s music is major asset of the movie. Even Background Music by Anup Rubens is all right. Dash Dash and Boys Boys were visually good.Cinematography by Rasool is neat. He elevated the scenes a lot with his camera work. Fights are a fine. Choreography is commendable. Editing by Kotagiri is could have been better. Production Values were satisfactory.

Survi Verdict: Neeku Naaku Dash Dash starts off average with regular Teja mark scenes and good Music. Heroine using “Dash” word is good. The second half rolls in the predictable mode with casual narration. Climax of the film failed to hold the interest. Positives of Neeku Naaku Dash Dash are Music, Cinematography, Comedy in Parts. On the Dash side its Thin Storyline, second half narration, drags in between, Editing, Regular Teja narration. This film is big disappointment coming from a director of such a high capablility.

Final Word: Neeku Naaku Dash Dash a Old Wine in New Bottle..

Survi Review: 2/5
