Nanna Storyline: Krishna (Vikram) is a man with a mental growth of a five-year-old and works in a chocolate factory in Ooty. His wife has passed away and he looks after his daughter Nila (Sara) whom he is very attached to. One day she is taken away from him by his father-in-law Rajendran (Sachin Khedkar), a powerful man in society. His wife’s sister Shwetha (Amala Paul) takes care of the daughter. Now its Krishna’s turn to search for the daughter. Steps in advocate Anuradha (Anushka) and Vinod (Santhanam), her junior promising him to get back the custody of daughter through court. The rest is legal battle and arguments in court and who wins at last will be the climax.

Nanna Performance: Vikram was splendid.Credits go to Vikram for coming forward to accept such a role and Delivering it with perfection. The essence of life were in each scenes. Its an different Anushka Shetty appearing in a deglamorized role and she is impressive. Amala Paul done a tremendous job, who pulls off a tricky role with right sensitivity. We cant ask more from Baby Sara she was just fab . Nazar is really convincing in his role. Santhanam plays his part well.

Nanna Technical Aspects: Nirav Shah’s cinematography and G V Prakash Kumar’s music takes us more close towards the script. However, the script is too thin and is unmistakably made for claiming awards rather than commercial viability. Director Vijay manages to extract the best not just from his artistes but also from his technicians. Every single frame is reflecting their hard work. Production Values were good.

First Half
Slow Narration
Predictable in Parts
Not Enough Entertainment

Survi Verdict:   Nanna is VERY slow moving but amazingly compelling movie. It satisfies you if you love good movies,  this film is not for those who are looking for mass entertainment.

Survi Review: 2.75/5

Final Verdict: Movie STRICTLY For Classy & Family audience
