Expectations were literally bigger than before as Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn joined hands together. These personalities share a common history of success in film industry and together they have outmatched their previous films now.

Singham Storyline: Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) is a SI in a small town of Shivgad who settles every problem in his town. When Kavya (Kajal Aggarwal) comes on vacation with his father, she get impressed by Singham’s courage and falls in love with him.

Goa based big gangster Jaikant Shikre (Prakash Raj) comes to Shivgad to sign a bail but he sends someone else instead of him. But Singham charge that Jaikant should come and sign the bail himself. And here starts the tension between Singham and Jaikant. Watch how Singham fights Jaikant and his evil activities.. The movie revolves around smuggling activities taking place in  the border of Maharashtra and Goa.

Singham Performances: Ajay Devgn is energetic and emotes well but the police officer’s role has its own limitations. He is outstanding with his flawless performance. Southern star Kajal Agarwal is good in her part but the chemistry between Ajay and Kajal is somewhat lacking. Prakash Raj‘s yet another best show after Wanted (2009) as he gets equally powerful role as Ajay Devgn.  Ashok Saraf was superb and the remaining cast  was apt to their respective roles.

Director Rohit Shetty, who made commercial fares like Phool aur Kaante and Golmaal (1,2,3), has an assured style, and his screenplay is pacy and manages to impress, but there was much more expected from the film and it fails to meet that.   Camera work by Dudley is nice and editing is crisp. Production values are high. Ajay Gogavale, Atul Gogavale strikes with pleasing melodies as almost all the songs have been tuned out well.

The film is a perfect mix of drama, emotion, action, romance and comedy the plot of the movie was like common movies but the extra effort put in for the making of the movie made it a hit.

Survi Reviews: Singham has more reasons to watch as the film goes inclusive of entertaining elements. You have everything you expect from a good commercial entertainer. Rohit and Ajay have always come out as a hit pair and this one’s yet another example.

Final Word: Worth Watch Movie For Ajay and Prakash Raj 🙂
