Pre mood : loved the first TRANSFORMERS (2007) flick – second one was AWFUL & Michael Bay knows it… Have a feeling he will redeem himself with this one… Lets Check out the review to Find out whether Micheal Bay reached my  expectations??

Tranformers 3 Storyline: 2007’s Transformers set up the story of the Autobots versus Decepticons for Transformers newbies like myself, and then served up a semi-decent plot along with a whole lot of action. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen doesn’t even really attempt to follow more than the most threadbare of storylines. The Decepticons want to blow up our sun, the Autobots want to protect us, the Army guys are fully behind the Autobots, Sam Witwicky is at the heart of the problem/solution, and there’s a government idiot who tries to block the good guys from helping us fight the bad guys. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon A sweet prologue (marred only by a phony-looking digital JFK) recounts the war for Cybertron and the real reason behind the U.S.-Soviet space race of the 1960s. Cut to the present where Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) struggles to find his first post-college job, while the Autobots led by Optimus Prime and the U.S. military’s NEST team led by Lt. Col. Lennox (Josh Duhamel) work in tandem to take out the remaining Decepticons around the world. However, the evil ‘bots eventually get the upper hand and begin an invasion to conquer the Earth with Chicago as Ground Zero in this final war between the Autobots/humans and Decepticons.

Poor Storyline

Slow Narration

Performances: Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky isn’t much impressive unlike his previous performances. Shia LeBeouf’s role has been over-shadowed by the Autobots and he seems to be a forceful addition since he was present in the earlier movies. John Torturro reprises his role of government agent and is been wasted due to poor dialogue-writing. Rosie Huntington-Whitely as Carly provides additional eye candy as the replacement for Megan Fox and does just fine as sexpot/damsel in distress. I have no clue why he would love her. Peter Cullen as the voice of Optiums Prime and Hugo Weaving as that of Megatron are extremely good. Everybody else gets stuck with flat characters, and most just choose to ham it up.

Visual Effects: The visual effects in this film are beyond amazing. The explosions are pretty, and a couple of set pieces are pretty impressive. Go see this film in theaters or IMAX or whatever big screen you can find. The final battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons was stunning. Michael Bay knows how to shoot action and most importantly he knows what crazy stunts will make the audience’s jaw drop.

BackGroundScore: Hand in hand with the visual effects. This movie was a treat for sound junkies. As a Transformer unfolds, there is literally a sound for every motion. Explosions. Rockets. All were incredible sounding and made this movie incredibly engaging…

Direction: Michael Bay has brilliantly related one of mankind‘s biggest achievement , the first outer space expedition to moon , with the existing fictional storyline and more defined characters…

About 3D Effects: “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” is the first movie since “Avatar” that I can in good conscious recommend paying the extra money to see in 3D. A couple of times I actually felt the sensation of being on a roller coaster.

Survi Verdict: The major drawback of the film is the Poor Storyline & Predictable Screenplay. If the proceedings were a bit racier then the movie would have done wonders. But besides that, I really enjoyed this film. Worth Watch for its spectacular visual effects.

Bottom Line: A 3D spectacle u never wanna miss it in theaters or else you’ll REGRET about your decision..
