After disaster like “Bava” it’s a perfect re-entry. Siddarth modulated himself a lot to suit the role of Yodha.he gave his best for the role. Shruthi Hassan, is perfect fit for this charming role. She is so cute in her looks and her chemistry with Siddarth works greatly on the screen. Laxmi Manchu , Luckiest Debutant no one can get a role better than her role as “Irendri”. Laxmi voice over for Irendri reminds us voice-modulations of Mohan Babu. Laxmi dialogs, ferocious attitude which gave Irendri an immeasurable power. Baby Harshitha perfectly suits her role. Most of the rest of the cast can take some time to register in your mind, owing to the costumes, but the performances are good.
Prakash Kovelamudi raised the boundary levels of tollywood with his direction. But he failed to maintain the same tempo in second half, but finally concluded it correctly. The visuals (firefly) are well-done, though there is a lot of computer-generated mumbo-jumbo, both in the stunts as well as for Irendri role. Sometimes, it looks like Prakash’s trying too hard to please the audience. Fabulous cinematography by Soundar Rajan. Songs are well in tune with theme of the film, Like always, music director salim-sulaiman elevates the mood of the film with their re-recording. Editing (Shravan) is perfect.
