Manmadhan Banam is the story of Major Mannar played by Kamal Haasan, industrialist Madhan Gopal played by Madhavan and Ambujakshi played by Trisha. Deepa played by Sangeetha acts as a divorcee with two children. She is Ambujakshi’s freiend. Rajesh played by Ramesh Arvind plays the role of Mannar’s close friend and is suffering from cancer. Oviya is Madhan’s cousin.

Madhan employs Major Mannar to spy on actress Ambujakshi whom he loves. He is suspicious of her and quarrels for the same. Major Mannar follows Ambujakshi to Paris. where she is on a vacation. Madhan agrees to take care of the medical expenses of Rajan . Deepa too is in Paris with her children. Then the fun begins. The movie also shows the flashbacks of Madhan’s accident and Major Mannar’s army commando days. Finally, Mannar hatches a conspiracy against Madhan.

Performance wise who can be better than “Universal Hero” Kamal Hassan one man show, A treat cinegoers.Madhavan doesn’t share a lot screen space with the rest of the cast, who are clearly having a blast in Paris, Barcelona and Venice.Trisha has remarkable poise throughout the flick, and Sangeetha is something of a surprise with a bright performance. The other supporting characters Ramesh Arvind, Urvashi, Kitty, Usha Uthup, Maju Pillai, Ooviya and Kunjan have done their respective roles at their best.Suriya’s cameo role is an attractive aspect for the film. Devi Sri Prasad has given an awesome background score and couple of good songs.Manush Nandan (Cinematography) was A-one.

*Rich Locations
*Neelakasam (Reverse Picturisation)

*1st Half
*Predictable Storyline
*Unacceptable climax

Manmadha Banam just an average flick and repeated version of Kamal Haasan’s love and comedy. It’s hardly had entertainment except in some scene’s in second half. Finally, not worth your ticket wait for its home edition.
